The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that a decision on Otto Addo's future as Black Stars head coach will be made on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
This follows Ghana's failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), marking the country's first absence in 21 years.
Under Addo’s leadership, the team failed to win any of their six qualifying matches, finishing bottom of Group F with three losses and three draws. Despite this, discussions on Addo's future remain contentious.
The GFA's Executive Council will meet with him to review his technical report and assess the team's overall performance. The Black Stars will focus on the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March 2025.
