Ghana, Jamaica, Nigeria, and Trinidad and Tobago will meet in London. They will compete for the Unity Cup 2025. This event is called "The Best in the West – the Afro Classico Contest."

On Tuesday, May 27, Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors will face Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz. This match marks the first “TriniJam” clash in the UK. The winner will be crowned the top team in the West Indies.
The next day, on May 28, Nigeria’s Super Eagles will battle Ghana’s Black Stars. This match is for West African bragging rights.
On Saturday, May 31, all four teams return for a doubleheader. There will be a third-place playoff followed by the final match to crown the champion of Unity Cup 2025.
Nigeria enters as a favorite with their strong FIFA ranking. They are also two-time Unity Cup winners. However, Ghana poses a significant threat. The Black Stars previously defeated Nigeria 4-1 in London.
Jamaica aims to prove themselves after losing narrowly to Trinidad and Tobago before. They are eager to settle that score.

Andy Howes, Co-Director of AfroSport, emphasized that the Unity Cup unites communities through football. He noted that elite stars reflect the growing influence of black football fans in England.
