Ghana Karate-Do Federation and GIT Ghana sign management system improvement pact

The Ghana Karate-Do Federation has made history.

President Nathaniel Johnson led the signing of a partnership agreement with GIT Ghana Limited. This collaboration aims to improve the federation's management systems. The agreement was signed in Accra last Thursday.

The new system will streamline operations for karate events. It will also provide quick access to information and track karatekas' performance. This innovative platform is expected to enhance overall management.

During a media briefing, President Johnson emphasized the system's importance. He noted it would improve accessibility for the federation and other sports organizations. He stressed that collaboration among athletes, clubs, and coaches is crucial for success.

Mr. Silas Peprah, executive director of GIT Ghana Limited, explained the system's features. He mentioned that they are categorizing the application into four event phases. Currently, they are collecting data on dojos and karatekas both locally and internationally.

Peprah highlighted that anyone interested can register on the platform. Parents and children will also have strategic measures for inclusivity in karate. This initiative aims to engage kids and develop their interest in the sport.

He added that the application would increase visibility for dojos across Ghana. With this new management system, the federation is ready to elevate its operations.

The Ghana Karate-Do Federation has a rich history since its founding in 1997. It is affiliated with both UFAK and WKF.
