Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago will meet in London. They will compete for the Unity Cup in May 2025. This event is called "The Best in the West – the Afro Classico Contest."
The competition includes two semi-finals. The first semi-final is on Tuesday, May 27. The Soca Warriors of Trinidad and Tobago will face the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica. This match marks the first-ever TriniJam clash on UK soil.
The second semi-final is on Wednesday, May 28. The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on the Black Stars of Ghana. This match features a battle for regional supremacy.
The tournament concludes with a double-header on Saturday, May 31. The losing semi-finalists will play for third place first. Then, the final match will determine the 2025 Unity Cup champions.
Nigeria has won the Unity Cup twice and is favored to win again. Their FIFA ranking and recent form support this expectation. However, Ghana aims to repeat their past success in London. They previously defeated Nigeria 4-1 there.
