Ghana Premier League is not attractive anymore – Mohammed Polo

Ghana football legend Mohammed Polo is worried about the Ghana Premier League. He finds it less attractive than in previous generations.

At the "Honoring the Legends" event, Polo expressed his disappointment. He expected the league to improve over time. Instead, he believes the quality of play has declined.

"We have played football here and seen many generations," he said. "We expected better football now, but it's not happening." He added that the league is simply not attractive.

Polo did recognize some positive efforts from current football management. He noted their focus on training and developing coaches.

"This administration actively encourages and supports coach training," he stated.

Polo's comments reflect a growing call for reforms in the league. There are concerns about issues like fan attendance and recent incidents, including the murder of Francis Yaw Frimpong and Nsoatreman vacating the league.
