The Ghana Schools U15 Girls won the WAFU B African Schools Football Championship, defeating Benin 1-0 in the final on Saturday. Daniela Abass scored the winning goal in the second half at Niger’s FeniFoot Technical Centre.

The competition, which featured teams from Benin, Cote d'Ivoire, Niger, and Burkina Faso, showcased young talents and promoted international competition.

Ghana's victory secured them a place in the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship Finals.

The tournament emphasized youth development and safeguarding protocols. The CAF African Schools Football Championship aims to nurture future African football stars, reaching over 800,000 young players across three seasons, with the goal of strengthening football at the grassroots level.
