Ghana coach Otto Addo owed 3-months unpaid salaries

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo and his technical staff have reportedly not been paid for the past three months, according to Kessben FM.

Addo, who took charge in March 2024 after replacing Chris Hughton, left his role at Borussia Dortmund to return to the Ghana national team.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is working with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to resolve the payment issue.

Addo’s tenure has been marked by a disappointing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign, with Ghana failing to win any of their six matches. The team finished bottom of Group F, missing the AFCON for the first time in 20 years.

Addo has been summoned by the GFA for a critical meeting on November 27, 2024, to discuss the team’s future.
