Real Valladolid have confirmed that Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo will be out for two to three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during their 7-1 defeat to Athletic Bilbao.
The 28-year-old was substituted after 65 minutes, adding to his injury struggles this season.
Aidoo previously suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon while playing for Ghana against Mexico in October 2023, sidelining him for months. After struggling for game time at Celta Vigo, he joined Valladolid in January in search of regular football.
The former Hammarby and Genk defender now faces another setback in his bid to regain full fitness and help Valladolid’s fight for La Liga survival.
