Ghana forward Inaki Williams reaches 80 La Liga goals

Ghanaian international Inaki Williams scored his 80th La Liga goal as Athletic Bilbao defeated Villarreal 2-0 in a Week 16 clash. Williams, who played 85 minutes, sealed the win in the second half after Aitor Paredes opened the scoring in the 15th minute at Estadio San Mamés.

This milestone came in his 358th La Liga appearance, with Bilbao now fourth in the league standings.

This season, Williams has been vital for the Basque side, contributing four goals and four assists in 16 league games.

The Spanish-born Ghanaian recently celebrated a decade at Bilbao, debuting on December 6, 2014, and signing his first professional contract in 2015. Over ten years, he has made 441 appearances, scored 106 goals, and ranks as Bilbao's 14th all-time top scorer.
