Former Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan believes the country has plenty of talented players who can elevate the senior national team.
The ex-Inter Milan player, who earned nine caps for the Black Stars, retired from international football in 2019 due to a lack of respect.
In an interview, he explained that while the last two Black Stars coaches tried to convince him to return, he declined.
Duncan stated that with his age, he believes younger, more talented players should have the opportunity to represent the national team.
He made six appearances for Ghana and remains supportive of the team as they prepare for upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
