Ghanaian football legend Abdul Karim "Golden Boy" Razak was honored at the WAFU B General Assembly in Niamey, Niger, for his outstanding contributions to football.
The 1978 African Footballer of the Year attended the event as a Special Guest alongside notable figures, including Moumouni Dagano, Kossi Agassa, and Moussa Maâzou.
WAFU B President Kurt Okraku led the tributes, celebrating their impact on African football. Razak, renowned for his stellar career, played for clubs like Asante Kotoko, New York Cosmos, and teams in the UAE, Egypt, and Ivory Coast during the 1970s and 1980s.
Recognized as one of Africa’s top 30 footballers by CAF in 2007, Razak’s legacy continues to inspire, marking him as one of the continent’s all-time greats.
