Ghana’s Black Stars climb to 76th in FIFA Rankings after World Cup Qualifier wins

Ghana has moved up in the latest FIFA rankings. This is their first rise since July 2024. Back then, they climbed from 64th to 60th.

The Black Stars are now ranked 76th globally, up from 77th. They held this position since November 2024. This improvement follows a strong start to 2025 during the last international break.

Ghana achieved victories over Chad and Madagascar in the World Cup Qualifiers. These were their first wins since defeating the Central African Republic in June. The team surpassed Israel, which dropped two spots in the rankings.

Despite this global progress, Ghana remains 14th in Africa. Coach Otto Addo aims to build on this momentum later this year.
