Andre Ayew played a crucial role in Le Havre’s thrilling 4-3 comeback victory over Lens, scoring and assisting to help his team secure a vital win in their battle for survival.

Lens took an early lead with a penalty and doubled their advantage through Ruben Aguilar, but Le Havre responded.

Issa Soumaré pulled one back before assisting Ayew, who scored to level the match before halftime. Lens regained the lead early in the second half, but Ayew’s dangerous cross led to an equalizer from Josué Casimir.

In stoppage time, Casimir won a penalty, and Ahmed Hassan converted to complete the dramatic win.
