Ghanaian footballer Emmanuel Brenu found dead

Emmanuel Brenu, a former player for Zamalek FC in Sekondi-Takoradi, was found dead in his room on December 10, 2024, in Asamensudu, Sekondi.

The 31-year-old footballer had been struggling with emotional trauma after the loss of his mother six months earlier.

Reports indicate Brenu had been battling depression and was in a low state before his passing.

His death has deeply shocked the Ghanaian sports community, following a series of similar tragic losses in 2024.
