Jonah Kusi-Asare, a 17-year-old Swedish-born Ghanaian talent, made his first-team debut for Bayern Munich in a 6-0 friendly win over RB Salzburg, replacing Joshua Kimmich.
He joined Bayern from AIK Solna in 2024, impressing European scouts with his potential. Kusi-Asare had been close to making his Bundesliga debut earlier this season, being named on the bench against Heidenheim.
He has represented Sweden at youth level, earning eight caps and scoring five goals, but remains eligible to play for Ghana, his father's homeland.
His father, Jones Kusi-Asare, had a successful football career in Sweden, Austria, and Denmark. With his technical abilities and strong work ethic, Jonah is poised for a bright future in global football.
