Despite playing outside his usual midfield role, the Ghanaian broke the deadlock in the 61st minute after a smart assist from Declan Rice. Earlier, Kieran Tierney had a goal disallowed for offside.
Brentford responded in the 74th minute when Wissa scored from close range after a clever setup by Nathan Collins.

Partey's strike marked his fourth Premier League goal of the season—his most prolific since joining Arsenal.

The result puts Liverpool in position to stretch their lead to 13 points with a win over West Ham on Sunday.
