Alan Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change, has criticized the government's current approach to sports development, arguing that relying solely on state funds is insufficient.
He advocates for empowering the private sector to establish sports academies and infrastructure to train world-class athletes.
Kyerematen believes that private investment would ensure higher standards and better maintenance of facilities. He emphasized that without world-class infrastructure, Ghana cannot produce top-tier sportsmen.
Kyerematen, who aspires to be Ghana's president, pledged to implement this policy if elected, promising significant improvements in sports development.
