He stated, "The government has adopted an ineffective approach and business model concerning sports. If the government believes it can solely utilize its budget to foster sports development, it is unlikely to succeed. The key lies in enabling the private sector to establish top-tier sports academies and infrastructure. When private individuals invest, they are motivated to ensure quality and proper maintenance."
Kyerematen, who aspires to be the president of Ghana, further emphasized, "Without world-class infrastructure in sports, the development of elite athletes is unattainable. Should I become president with this sports policy, the outcomes will be remarkable." He articulated these views during a recent media engagement focused on sports development.
