Hasaacas Ladies goalkeeper Grace Banwaa has been called up to the Black Queens. She will join the squad for upcoming friendlies.
Banwaa leads in clean sheets in the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League. She is one of three goalkeepers selected for two games against Senegal.
Head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren announced his 22-woman squad on April 2. The team will train in Senegal ahead of the matches.
Three home-based players are included: two from the Southern Zone and one from the Northern Zone.
These games help prepare for the delayed 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). This tournament will take place in Morocco later this year.
The Black Queens will face Senegal on April 5. They will play again three days later.
Bjorkegren aims for his first win as head coach. His last match ended in a 1-0 loss to Morocco during the previous international break.
