‘He is a player we have been looking at’ – Everton manager David Moyes confirms interest in Ernest Nuamah

Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed the club's interest in signing Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah during the January transfer window.

Moyes acknowledged that the Black Stars forward is among several players Everton is considering to strengthen their squad.

“He’s a player we’ve been looking at, but I couldn’t say for sure that it’s done or even underway unless something is happening that I’m unaware of," Moyes remarked during a press conference ahead of Everton’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Reports from GHANAsoccernet.com indicate that Olympique Lyon and Everton have agreed on a transfer fee for Nuamah, with the deal expected to be finalized early next week. Moyes remains hopeful of securing the signing before the transfer window closes.
