Heart of Lions 1-1 Kotoko-Lions are a formidable side – Prosper Narteh Ogum

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, praised Heart of Lions. They played to a 1-1 draw in Matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League. This result keeps Kotoko two points clear at the top.

In a post-match interview, Dr. Ogum recognized the strength of Bashiru Hayford’s team. He called them a “very formidable team” with strong defense. This makes it hard for opponents to score, especially at home.

Dr. Ogum noted that Hearts of Lions are performing well in the league. He emphasized their solid defensive network and how difficult it is to break through. Playing in Kpando gives them an advantage with their home crowd support.

Kotoko initially took the lead with Justice Blay's second goal this season. However, Ali Fawaz quickly equalized for Hearts of Lions, resulting in a draw.

Asante Kotoko has 46 points from 25 games and leads the title race. Heart of Lions is now sixth on the table with 38 points from 24 matches. They remain a significant threat to any opponent in the league.
