Heart of Lions miss chance to go top after draw with Basake Holy Stars

Heart of Lions missed a chance to top the Ghana Premier League. They drew 0-0 against Basake Holy Stars at the AAK Ampain Arena on Sunday.

The match was closely contested, with both teams creating chances. However, the hosts came closest to scoring.

In the 67th minute, Basake received a penalty. Star forward Prince Tweneboah missed this crucial opportunity. The score remained unchanged after his failed attempt.

As a result, Heart of Lions stay level on 54 points with Asante Kotoko and Nations FC. They trail league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by two points. There are three games left in the season.

Despite the draw, Lions have one of the best defensive records in the league. This was a missed chance to go joint-top as the title race tightens.
