Heart of Lions owner Dr Randy Abbey set sights on winning Ghana Premier League title

Dr. Randy Abbey, owner of Heart of Lions, has big goals. They aim to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title. The team is currently in 3rd place with 54 points. They are just three points behind league leaders Nations FC. There are three matches left in the season.

Abbey, who is also a member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council, wants to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season. He expressed his desire to win the league for the first time and compete in Africa.

Despite a tough schedule ahead, Abbey is proud of his team's performance. They have three away games and only one home game remaining. He believes these are the most difficult matches among title contenders.

Abbey said he is pushing his players and appreciates their achievements so far. He stated that winning the league would make him very happy. However, he is already impressed with what they have accomplished this season.

Heart of Lions will face Young Apostles on Sunday at Wenchi Sports Stadium. After that, they will play Bechem United at home. They will finish their season with an away match against Nations FC.
