Hearts of Oak condemn Nsoatre violence, calls for action against hooliganism

Hearts of Oak’s statement is a strong and necessary call for action. Fan violence has no place in football, and it’s good to see one of Ghana’s biggest clubs taking a stand against it.

The #BringBackTheLove campaign was meant to revive passion for Ghanaian football, but incidents like this completely undermine that effort.

The GFA’s swift response—charging the clubs, suspending the league, and banning Nsoatreman from hosting games—shows they are taking the matter seriously. However, real change will require more than just punishments.

Education, better security, and stricter regulations on fan behavior need to be put in place.

Do you think these measures will be enough to curb violence, or do clubs and the GFA need to go even further?
