The Board and Management of Accra Hearts of Oak met with club supporters. This strategic meeting aimed to strengthen unity and address concerns. It also focused on enhancing transparency for the club's success.
The meeting took place in Accra on May 23, 2025. Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe chaired the session as a veteran football administrator. Supporters' leaders had a chance to voice grievances and suggest solutions.
Participants described the atmosphere as frank and constructive. They raised concerns about team performance and player quality. Issues included transparency in scouting and communication from management.
The upcoming NCC elections were also discussed. These elections will occur after the current league season ends. A committee will be formed to ensure a fair electoral process.
In response to recruitment concerns, the Board acknowledged shortcomings. They assured supporters that steps are being taken to improve scouting and strengthen the squad. The Board remains committed to building a competitive club.
As part of reforms, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman was appointed Executive Supervisory Director. He will link the Board with Management closely. He will work with Managing Director Dr. Delali Anku-Adiamah on operations, including the Pobiman Project.
Supporters’ leadership, led by NCC Chairman Mr. Elvis Herman Hesse Jnr., praised this initiative. He stressed the importance of consistent communication with fans.
“This meeting reconnects fans to the soul of the club,” he said. “We want a team that reflects our ambitions.”
Dr. Anku-Adiamah assured fans that similar meetings would happen regularly. “This is just the beginning,” he stated, emphasizing their commitment to inclusivity.
Honorable Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Imoro Briamah called for unity among fans. They urged support for the club’s long-term vision while avoiding internal divisions that could hinder progress.
