Hearts of Oak captain Benjamin Asare has reaffirmed the team’s focus on winning the Ghana Premier League following their FA Cup exit.
The Phobians suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 penalty shootout defeat to Golden Kick in the round of 16 after a goalless draw. Now, Asare believes the team must be mentally strong and committed to the title race.
“We are focused on the league because we are out of the FA Cup. We have to be mentally tough and fight for the league,” he said ahead of their match against Young Apostles.
Hearts of Oak are in excellent form, going six league games unbeaten with four consecutive clean sheets. They face Young Apostles on Saturday, aiming to maintain their momentum and push for the title.
