Inter Milan delivered a stunning 6-0 victory over Lazio, marking their biggest-ever home defeat in Serie A history.
Lazio, who had been unbeaten in 12 home games, started the match level on points with Inter but struggled against a dominant attacking performance from Simone Inzaghi's side.
Inter took the lead with a Hakan Calhanoglu penalty in the 41st minute, followed by Federico Dimarco’s volley before halftime. In the second half, Nicolo
Barella, Denzel Dumfries, Carlos Augusto, and Marcus Thuram all added goals. Inter now sit third in the standings with 34 points, three behind leaders Atalanta. Lazio's previous worst home defeat was 5-0 to Fiorentina in 1959.
