Real Madrid ended a challenging week on a high with a commanding 4-1 comeback win over Las Palmas at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The match began poorly for Madrid, conceding after just 26 seconds to Fabio Silva. However, Kylian Mbappé equalized with a penalty after Rodrygo was fouled.
Madrid took control with quick goals from Brahim Diaz, assisted by Lucas Vazquez, and Mbappé, converting a Rodrygo cross for his second.
Though Mbappé's hat-trick goal was disallowed by VAR, Rodrygo scored the fourth before Las Palmas' Benito Ramirez was sent off for a dangerous challenge.
The match also marked David Alaba's return after a 13-month injury absence. The victory restores Madrid to the top of La Liga, strengthening their title ambitions.
