Hohoe United recently qualified for the Ghana Premier League. They achieved this by defeating Inter Allies 3-1 in their penultimate match.

This is only Hohoe United's second season since receiving their license from the GFA. They will compete in the top flight during the 2025-2026 season.

Asante believes the club will not return to Division One soon. He stated, “Hohoe United has its own identity. We are not a copycat of any team.”

He added that they follow a specific policy direction. The goal is to run a club that meets European standards.

In other news, Swedru All Blacks qualified from Zone Two. Real Tamale United and Techiman Eleven Wonders will compete for Zone One’s spot on May 30 at Accra Sports Stadium.
