Hoping Athletic Bilbao excels in Champions League next season- Black Stars forward Inaki Williams

Inaki Williams plays for Athletic Club and represents Ghana. He is excited about the upcoming UEFA Champions League campaign.

Williams recently won the La Liga African Player of the Year Award. This is his second consecutive win. In the 2024-2025 season, he scored six goals and provided eight assists in 35 league games.

He expressed happiness about his award and discussed Bilbao’s future. The team finished fourth in La Liga this past season.

“We are playing incredible football,” Williams said. “We’ve had two great seasons and have no limits.” He hopes for a strong performance in the Champions League next season.

“That’s every Athletic fan's dream,” he added, “to see us play well.”

Williams will not join the Black Stars for the Unity Cup in England from May 28 to May 31.
