The NBA's new All-Star Game format has faced criticism from players, especially Kevin Durant. The revised setup features a four-team, three-game tournament, with three teams of eight All-Stars and the fourth team being the winner of the Rising Stars challenge.
Each game will end when a team scores 40 points. Durant voiced his disapproval, saying, "I hate it; I absolutely hate it," and called the changes "terrible."
He further added, "We should just go back to East-West. Just play a game." The new format, set to take place on February 16 at the Golden State Warriors' home arena, replaces the traditional East vs. West matchup, a change that has not been well received by some players.
