I am the face of Ghana boxing - Says Bukom Banku’s son Ambitious Tilapia

Abubakar Saddick, also known as "Ambitious Tilapia," has declared himself the new face of Ghana Boxing.

The 21-year-old boxer, son of Bukom Banku, confidently stated, “I am the face of Ghana Boxing.” Despite having only one professional fight, he compares his crowd-pulling ability to that of Dancehall artist Shatta Wale, claiming, “I can fill the Bukom Arena several times.”

Abubakar, a silver medalist at the 2023 Accra competition, draws inspiration from his father, saying, “My father is my boxing idol... it makes me proud whenever he cheers me on.” Despite his rising profile, he missed a nomination for the SWAG Boxer of the Year award.
