Former GFA Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara has revealed that he never received financial compensation during his tenure with the Black Stars.
Speaking on Sporty FM, he addressed the controversy over payments to Management Committee members, particularly after reports confirmed each received $100,000 following Ghana’s 2022 World Cup campaign.
Daara, who served with the national team for nearly a decade and now works as a CAF Senior Media Officer, stated, "When I was working with the Black Stars, I did not get anything."
He also urged the GFA to improve its communication with the government to justify the rationale behind compensating Management Committee members. His comments highlight ongoing debates about financial transparency in Ghanaian football administration.
