Former Ghana international Michael Essien has expressed admiration for the Right to Dream project, a youth development initiative that influenced his decision to join Danish club FC Nordsjaelland as an assistant coach.
Essien cited his long-standing relationship with the club’s founder, Tom Vernon, who also established the Right to Dream Academy, as a key factor.
Impressed by the project’s commitment to nurturing young talent and providing opportunities for professional football, Essien accepted Vernon’s invitation to join.
