Elmina Sharks owner Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has hinted at stepping away from running the club following their 1-0 defeat to Swedru All Blacks on February 16, 2025.

The match ended in controversy, with Sharks players and officials reportedly attacking the referee over a penalty decision.

In an interview with GTV Sports+, Nduom expressed frustration, stating that operating the club is not "worth it" given the challenges involved.

He emphasized that his involvement is not for financial gain but to provide opportunities for players.

Meanwhile, midfielder Jay Asamoah has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for his role in the post-match chaos.

The incident adds to ongoing concerns about discipline in Ghanaian football, with the GFA expected to take further action.
