I’m not in any camp- Ghana Olympic Committee Aspirant states ahead of Elections

Aurora Commodore-Toppar is running for Assistant Treasurer in the 2025 Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) Elections. She has stated that she does not belong to any “camp” before the elections.

The GOC Elections will occur on April 25. Daniel Akpokavi and Mike Aggrey are contesting for the GOC Presidency. Ben Nunoo Mensah will not run again after serving two terms.

In an interview with Citi Sports, Aurora expressed her willingness to work with anyone if elected. She emphasized that she is not aligned with any group. "I am just trying to market myself," she said.

Aurora aims to appeal to delegates for their support. She believes her experience makes her a strong candidate. With four years as Treasurer of the Ghana Basketball Federation and 14 years in banking, she feels qualified.

She believes her expertise can help the GOC function effectively if given the chance.
