**Bukom Banku's Ramadan Decision**
Ghanaian boxer and musician Bukom Banku did not fast this Ramadan. He explained that it wasn't for health reasons. Instead, he simply couldn't go without food.
In an interview on Max TV, he admitted fasting was too difficult for him. So, he found another way to participate in the holy month.
He noted that this year's fasting was successful for many. Those who fasted did well, but he told Ghanaians he could not join them. To support others, he gave money for them to fast on his behalf.
Ramadan is a sacred time in Islam. It involves fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer, and reflection. While some are exempt from fasting for valid reasons, Bukom Banku's choice was personal.
He stated that his method of sponsoring others is accepted in Islamic teachings. His community understands his stance after many years.
Despite not fasting himself, Bukom Banku supports those who do. He remains committed to upholding Ramadan values in his own way.
Bukom Banku, born Braimah Kamoko, is known for his vibrant personality. He is a professional boxer and entertainer in Ghana's local boxing scene.
