CAF Second Vice-President Kurt Okraku is committed to developing football in Ghana. He recently stepped down as President of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Okraku emphasized his focus on Ghanaian football. He wants to create opportunities for others in the zone to lead.
He stated, “You need to study yourself and react appropriately.” He acknowledged that combining multiple roles might not be the best approach.
Okraku believes allowing colleagues to serve at WAFU will help him stay focused on Ghana's needs.
Kurt Okraku has joined Faouzi Lekjaa, who is now the First Vice President. This change replaces Senegal FA President Augustine Senghor. Okraku takes over from Ahmed Yahya.
CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe confirmed this elevation during a press conference in Accra on April 26, 2025.
