Former Ghana international Asamoah Gyan has urged the Black Stars players to give their all. They are preparing for a match against Madagascar.
Ghana will face Madagascar on matchday six of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The team aims to extend their lead at the top of Group I.
Last Friday, Ghana won against Chad, ending a six-game winless streak. They secured all three points with a 5-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium. This win moved them to the top of the table.
The upcoming match against Madagascar is crucial for their World Cup chances. Gyan emphasized commitment from the players: “Let’s go 100%. I want Ghanaians to see you fighting.”
He noted that while clubs may advise caution, “the World Cup is the ultimate.”
Gyan is traveling with the team to Morocco for this important game. Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah is also part of the contingent.
The match is scheduled to kick off on Monday at 19:00 GMT.
