Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele has pledged his support for the Black Galaxies ahead of their African Nations Championship qualifier against Nigeria.
The three-time African Footballer of the Year visited the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence with his Nania FC team for a friendly, where the Black Galaxies secured a 1-0 win.
Pele praised the team’s physical strength, technical skill, and tactical discipline, expressing optimism about the future of Ghanaian football. He emphasized the players' determination and commitment to the national team as vital qualities for success.
The Olympique Marseille icon, now 60, promised to attend the match at Accra Sports Stadium on December 20 to cheer for the team in the first leg of their two-legged encounter against Nigeria. He described the team as a promising force for Ghana’s football future.
