Ibrahim Tanko bemoans 'FLAT' Accra Lions Performance after Hearts of Oak loss - 'We have learnt that we have to score'

Super-sub Mawuli Wayo's two second-half goals secured a 3-2 victory for Hearts of Oak against Accra Lions at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

Accra Lions struggled to convert opportunities late in the game, missing the chance to overcome their visitors.

Accra Lions' coach, Tanko, acknowledged the tough match and expressed disappointment in the result but praised Hearts of Oak's performance. He emphasized the need for better finishing in future games, particularly against Dreams FC.

The loss saw Accra Lions drop to 16th in the standings with 13 points, while Hearts of Oak moved up to 6th with 25 points.
