Medeama SC coach Ibrahim Tanko is proud of his team's effort. They recently lost 3-2 to Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.
In a post-match press conference, Tanko praised his players. He said, "I think I'm very proud of my boys." He noted that they created many chances after the first goal. "We should have been going up two or three goals," he added.
Tanko chose not to discuss the refereeing decisions that affected the game. "I don't want to talk about it," he stated. He emphasized that some situations changed the game's outcome.
When asked about officiating, Tanko reiterated, "I don't want to talk about referees." He expressed frustration over a foul leading to Kotoko's penalty. "The referees took a decision, and we have to accept it," he said.
Despite this loss, Medeama aims to bounce back in their next match against Berekum. The team wants to build on their season's momentum for a strong finish.
