Eric Alagidede, former General Manager of Nsoatreman FC, has defended his former boss, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, amidst allegations following the violent events during the GPL match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko.
The match saw a series of fights on and off the pitch, culminating in the tragic stabbing death of Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong, known as 'Nana Pooley'.
Baffour Awuah, who has been accused of inciting the violence, is currently under police custody.
Alagidede, speaking on Sporty FM, described Baffour Awuah as a peaceful person and a devoted Kotoko fan, stating that he would never instigate violence. The GFA has postponed match-day 20 while investigations continue.
