Former Nsoatreman FC General Manager, Eric Alagidede, has defended club owner Ignatius Baffour Awuah against allegations of inciting violence during a Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko.

Baffour Awuah, a former MP and Minister of State, is under legal scrutiny following violent clashes that resulted in the death of Kotoko supporter Francis Frimpong.

Speaking on Sporty FM, Alagidede described Baffour Awuah as a passionate football fan and longtime Kotoko supporter who would never harm the club.

The Ghana Football Association has suspended Nsoatreman FC's home venue and charged the club over the incident. As tensions remain high, Alagidede’s comments aim to clarify Baffour Awuah’s stance while investigations continue.
