Ghanaian forward Inaki Williams has made history with Athletic Bilbao, becoming the club’s third-highest scorer in European competitions.
He reached this milestone after scoring his 12th European goal in Bilbao’s 2-1 Europa League loss to AS Roma.
By surpassing Dani (11 goals), Williams now ranks behind only Fernando Llorente (14) and Aritz Aduriz (27).
The 30-year-old has been a key player at Bilbao since making his debut a decade ago.
With five goals in the Europa League this season, he is just two behind top scorer Ayoub El Kaabi.
Williams' impressive form makes him a strong candidate for Ghana’s squad in the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
