Inter’s coach Simone Inzaghi is one of Europe’s most underrated manager -Stephen Appiah

Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has called for greater recognition of Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi, whom he believes is among the best Italian coaches today.

Speaking on the Betway Mallam Goal podcast, Appiah praised Inzaghi’s leadership following Inter’s impressive 2-1 away victory against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

He highlighted Inter's dominance in Serie A and their consistent silverware haul, including a Scudetto in 2023/24, three Supercoppa titles, and two Coppa Italia wins under Inzaghi.

Appiah also recalled Inter’s strong showing in the 2022/23 Champions League final against Manchester City. Having started his coaching journey at Lazio, Inzaghi has built a remarkable resume.

With Inter leading Serie A and chasing more trophies this season, Appiah believes it’s time the football world gave Inzaghi his due credit.
