Inter Milan suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Fiorentina in a rescheduled Serie A match on Thursday.
The game, originally abandoned in December, resumed from the 17th minute under unusual conditions, with Fiorentina having only eight substitutes, including two goalkeepers.
Luca Ranieri opened the scoring before Moise Kean sealed the win with a brace. After the match, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi admitted his side "deserved" to lose, acknowledging their lackluster performance.
"We were completely missing in that game. Everything was missing," he told Sky Sport Italia.
Despite the setback, Inzaghi dismissed excuses about fatigue, urging his team to bounce back. Inter now sit three points behind Napoli at the top of Serie A, with both teams having played the same number of matches.
