It is the coach's decision whether or not to call up Eddie Nketiah to the Black Stars - Kurt Okraku

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is the President of the Ghana Football Association. He stated that the head coach decides who gets called up for the Black Stars.

Okraku responded to Eddie Nketiah's recent announcement about playing for Ghana. Nketiah had previously rejected call-ups from the Black Stars multiple times. However, he recently said on 'The Beautiful Game' podcast, "If Ghana calls me up, I'll be there."

In an interview with Original TV, Okraku clarified his role. He said it is not his decision to select players for the team. "It's not my call," he explained. "The coach and his staff decide who plays."

He added that no one has discussed Nketiah's availability with him.
