LeBron James returned from a two-game absence to score 18 points in the Los Angeles Lakers' 116-100 win against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The 39-year-old had missed the previous games due to "personal reasons" and a sore foot. Lakers coach JJ Redick had been unsure of James' return but confirmed he would start shortly before tip-off.
In 34 minutes, James contributed 18 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. He felt taking time off was the right decision for his recovery.
Anthony Davis added 40 points, and Redick emphasized the importance of James resetting mentally and physically.
