Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp has won the 2024-2025 Scottish Premier League title. He plays for Glasgow Celtic, who have now won the title four times in a row.
Celtic secured the title with a 5-0 victory over Dundee United away from home. This is Schlupp’s second top-flight division title. He previously won the English Premier League with Leicester City in the 2015-2016 season.
Schlupp is currently on loan from Crystal Palace. He joined Celtic during the January transfer window and participated in their UEFA Champions League run, which ended at the playoff stage.
In the title-clinching match against Dundee, Schlupp played 16 minutes off the bench. He completed 17 of 20 passes and won one out of three ground duels.
The 32-year-old's loan deal will end at the season's conclusion. So far this season, he has played 12 games across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
He will become a free agent when his contract with Crystal Palace expires on June 30, 2025.
